The first song I ever wrote was “Dancing In My Mind” for my CD ‘You Are There’. The album was conceived for and dedicated to my late father. I remember thinking that the only way I could really say what I wanted to say to him was by writing a song. The process was an emotional one, but also very rewarding.
In the next year, I wrote two more songs for my next CD, PERSPECTIVE. I felt tremendous joy hearing these tunes come alive in a recording. The last year has been one of many changes. During this time, I have worked more in solitary than on the stage. As I continue to write, I am excited about the prospect of a new recording consisting largely of original material . I also have written lyrics to a wonderful composition by my dear friend an drummer, Tim Horner. It is entitled “A Precious Soul”,and is a cut from his CD, THE PLACES WE FEEL FREE.
